 Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is a PIN Number?
A. A PIN number is an alphanumeric code assigned to each congregation within the Disciples of Christ. The Church Finance Council uses PIN numbers for recordkeeping and internal administration. Each recognized Disciples congregation has a PIN number listed in the Yearbook and Directory, which is available from the Yearbook Office (317-713-2492). If you do not have a Yearbook to use as a reference, you may call the Church Finance Council (317-713-2448) to obtain your congregation's PIN number.

Q. How do I get information about Disciples Mission Fund to share with my congregation?
A. Please send an e-mail to Enid Arey ( earey@cfc.disciples.org ). Make sure to include your name, the congregation name and the full address where the materials should be shipped. You may also order informational materials by calling our offices.

Q. How should I write the check for our gifts?
A. Please make the check payable to the Church Finance Council. If the gift is to be designated, simply indicate to which area(s).

Q. How do I get more remittance forms?
A. You can find them on the CFC web site under the Disciples Mission Fund link. You will find remittance forms that you can print in English and Spanish in the left column.

Q. How do I receive special offering materials or update my standing order?
A. Contact Enid Arey (earey@cfc.disciples.org), Administrative Assistant for the Church Finance Council, and she can place you on a standing order to automatically receive materials for the offerings as well as make any needed changes to your existing standing order.
